“The right classroom for each student.” That’s the rallying cry of a group of 43 state lawmakers who have introduced comprehensive School Choice legislation in Columbia,House Bill 4576. The plan targets support for low-income families and students with either physical or intellectual disabilities through tax credit funded scholarships to attend independent schools of their parents’ choosing.
